Attractions: Mangroves: The Roots Of The Sea
Spreading the word
Living Coasts’ intention behind Mangroves is to promote understanding of these vital bio-habitats. 20/20 worked closely with researchers and mangrove experts on interpretation to create an exhibit that is enjoyable and informative.
Just the job
We were recommended to Living Coasts by group partners, Paignton Zoo, who we’ve also completed projects for. This fixed-budget, heavy-research oriented project required a design company with a look and feel for quality branding, specialist experience on how to market a new area, and the assurance that we would deliver on time.
Flexibility and established process
20/20 worked with another group on the project fit-out, aiding with the entire project from concept to completion. We created a stunning new exhibit incorporating many illustrations combined with the latest technology. Tours begin at the top of a canopy featuring firefly, bat and proboscis monkey models with sound and lighting effects, proceeding down into an underworld of roots and foliage where giant aquarium tanks contain over 20 new species.
A great relationship
Work with Living Coasts has also included upgrading exterior signage and further exhibits within the park. We will also be providing ongoing refinement and maintenance work for the Mangrove: The Roots Of The Sea project.
